Houston Texans: A closer look at signed undrafted rookie free agents

Chase Middleton, linebacker (Georgia State): The Texans gained a linebacker from Georgia State, who in four seasons (38 games) totaled 190 tackles (103 solo) with 8.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks and one interception. Also in his career, he had five passes defensed and one fumble recovery. In 2018 as a senior, Middleton had 69 tackles, two tackles for loss and three passes defensed.

Walter Palmore, defensive line (Missouri): Palmore played two seasons for Missouri, and in 2018 he had 31 tackles in 11 games, with four tackles for loss and one sack. The defensive lineman also had two passes defensed. For his two seasons total, he played in 16 games, where he had 44 tackles, six tackles for loss, one sack and two passes defensed. In 2017, Palmore missed most of the season with a knee injury.

Malcolm Pridgeon, offensive line (Ohio State): Pridgeon is 6-7, 310 pounds, and as stated on his Ohio State profile page, he played in every OSU game in 2017 and 2018. In 2016, he was a red shirt following a knee injury and in 2018 was a member of the OSU offensive line where they allowed the third-fewest sacks in the Big Ten.

Dexter Wright, safety (North Carolina State): Here is another player from North Carolina State where in his final collegiate season, Wright had 51 tackles (24 solo), four tackles for loss, a half sack and one interception. This past season is where Wright played in more than seven games in a season as injuries slowed down his collegiate career.
