Quarterback: Jared Goff

The Los Angeles Rams are facing the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and for fantasy football purposes, one must look to the matchup Jared Goff and the Rams have against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7.

The 49ers are allowing 279 yards passing per game this season and 377.2 yards of offense per game as well, and with the Rams being the top offense in the NFL right now, it is tough not to pick Goff in this game.

This season, Goff has 12 touchdown passes and five interceptions for 1,928 yards through his first six games of the season, as he’s completing 69.1 percent of his passes and has a rating of 110.9. What there is also to like about Goff is he’s had 30 completions of 20-plus yards and six completions of 40-plus yards this season.

The Rams quarterback has a roster around him that fans of fantasy football love as well with players like Todd Gurley, Robert Woods, Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks to distribute the football too. It also helps to have an offensive-minded head coach, and even on the defensive side of the ball the Rams are doing their job at a high level too.

With the 49ers struggling this season and the Rams hitting on all cylinders right now, it is worth taking a very close look at Goff this week and inserting him into a starting lineup this weekend against the 49ers.
