Running Back: Ezekiel Elliott

This option for a running back on a fantasy football starting lineup is a no-brainer, but it is tough not to pick Ezekiel Elliott against the Washington Redskins this week as the offense of the Dallas Cowboys goes through Elliott on a weekly basis.

Besides his game against the Houston Texans in early October, the past four games for Elliott have been very productive no matter who the Cowboys have taken on. In three of his past four games, Elliott has rushed for game totals of 127 yards (16 carries), 152 yards (25 carries) and 106 yards (24 carries), so that means one, Elliott will produce on the ground, and two, the Cowboys are going to make fantasy football fans happy and give Zeke the football.

In facing the Redskins, they are only allowing 90.2 yards per game rushing and Elliott is averaging 97.6 yards per game rushing (5.0 yards per carry), so even though the Redskins are fifth in the NFL in rushing yards allowed, don’t be afraid to choose Elliott in any form of fantasy football lineup. Plus, he’s also averaging 7.2 yards per reception this season as well.

Elliott is a solid choice for any form of fantasy football this weekend, as the Cowboys offense will most likely make Elliott their top option once again.
