The Houston Texans just got major injury news ahead of their week six matchup with their AFC South counterparts in the Jacksonville Jaguars from Wembley Stadium. And no, it's not a Texans player this time.

According to NFL Insiders Ian Rapoport and Jeremy Fowler, Jaguars left tackle Anton Harrison is expected to undergo arthroscopic knee surgery that could sideline him anywhere from 3-5 weeks (Injured Reserve) or 3-4 months (season ending). While we at Toro TImes hope the best for Harrison in his recovery journey, the reality is that Houston's defensive line just receiving potentially season-altering news for their team.

Harrison's departure comes at a time where Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been enjoying the services of an offensive line that currently ranks in the top-10 of the NFL in fewest sacks allowed through five games (T-ninth-fewest with 10).

Meanwhile, the Texans' defensive line enters week six with the second-most sacks generated in the league with 18 (behind the Detroit Lions' 20). All-Pro defensive end WIll Anderson Jr. has definitely contributed more than his fair share to that output, adding in his league-leading 7.5 sacks to go along with his league-leading mark of 12 tackles for loss.

Even though Jacksonville has gotten off to a hot start in 2026, a massive injury like that at a time where Houston is barely clinging to their Super Bowl aspirations for the season could lead to a pivotal shift in trajectory for both teams when their London showdown is all said and done. This could ultimately be the deciding factor on Sunday morning when these two teams hit the field (their week two loss against the Denver Broncos providing a template for success along the way).

The Denver Broncos might've given the blueprint to the Houston Texans way back in week two

In Jacksonville's lone loss of the season, Lawrence was sacked twice, hit seven times, was only able to put up 189 passing yards (on 17/29 passing) and finished the day with only a 63.7 passer rating in Denver's 20-13 win. While the sack numbers aren't catastrophic, the whole stat line should read as a giant neon Battle-Red-colored light to Houston's defensive line.

Like in every game, if you pressure the quarterback enough, mistakes will be made, and games—even games considered out of reach—can be won.

The Texans don't have the defensive line of a 1-4 team, and with Harrison's injury news, they can certainly flex that reality even more so this Sunday morning in London.
