WR Nico Collins - (84.4 OFF/ 83.2 Receiving)
And we saved the best for the last. Wide receiver Nico Collins has done one of two things and he's done them very well; he's either been the reason that C.J. Stroud has seamlessly adjusted to the NFL game, or he's benefited from the arrival of Stroud's epic prowess and pocket presence. Either way, Collins has excelled with the arrival of Stroud.
Never amassing more than 481 yards in the prior two seasons, Collins is already at 631 this season, leading the team in targets, receiving yards, and touchdowns. He's become Strou'd's number-one option and while it's fair to say that Collins may be a more natural second option on a team, he's looked every bit the number-one in waiting so far this season.
All this while only "starting" five of the eight games he's played.
Collins may be the next great receiver in Texans history but only time will tell if what we're seeing from the third-year player is legit. After all, Collins was the 89th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft for a reason. Most third-rounders don't become top-line receivers, but if Collins is able to continue this pace, then he could easily become the team's number-one option.
