Texans 3-Round Mock Draft: Texans nab superstar in Second Round
With the 13th pick in the NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select Chris Olave.
Over his four-year career with the Ohio State Buckeyes, Olave racked up 2,702 yards and 35 touchdowns. Last season, he caught 65 passes for 936 yards and 13 touchdowns.
Olave has electric speed and an incredible ability to spot the ball. Olave would fit perfectly right next to Brandin Cooks, as Olave’s 4.29 40 speed and shiftiness will help take some pressure off Cooks.
With the 37th pick in the NFL Draft, the Houston Texans select Breece Hall.
Hall had an excellent career with the Cyclones as he rushed for 3,941 yards and 50 touchdowns while averaging 5.5 yards per carry. He also added 734 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
Last season, the run game was absolutely awful for the Texans, as their leading rusher was Rex Burkhead. Hall is a very versatile back as he has good hands but is also a great downhill runner. He’s the most NFL-ready of this class. He will be an immediate impact for the Texans and will be the steal of the draft.
