Offensive Line (8)

Tytus Howard, Roderick Johnson, Charlie Heck (R), Nick Martin, Max Scharping, Laremy Tunsil, Brent Ovale, Greg Mancz

This might be the toughest unit to pick for the Houston Texans because narrowing down how many players to keep for the o-line isn’t an easy task. There is no doubt that first-round pick from 2019 Tytus Howard was staying on the roster, as he’s going to be a beast on the Texans o-line in the foreseeable future.

There is also Roderick Johnson, who is a quality player, and the Texans just selected rookie Charlie Heck, who will be a developmental player for the unit. The center position will consist of Nick Martin and Greg Mancz, and there is franchise left tackle Laremy Tunsil, who is getting paid the big bucks this season.

Also, Max Scharping will be back for his second season, and Brent Ovale is also being picked here to make the roster. The Texans have more than one player on their roster who are able to play both guard and tackle if needed, and most likely that will be the case if and when injuries occur.

Maybe the most intense offensive battles to make the team this training camp will be on the offensive line because not all of the players even listed here are guaranteed to make the team, but at this point of the offseason, these seem to be the best offensive line the Texans have on their depth chart.
