Defense/Special Teams: Houston Texans

This isn’t a homer pick by selecting the Houston Texans, but rather it is a defense that is playing better each week and a unit that is facing the Buffalo Bills who are starting a rookie quarterback against a pass rush that has a re-energized J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney coming at him each play.

Houston has the advantage on defense in this game and if they don’t take advantage of their pass rush on Sunday then it will be a huge surprise to say the least. The Bills’ offensive line has allowed 22 sacks this season, and Josh Allen has been sacked 19 of those times.

The Texans need to play better in the defensive backfield in this Week 6 game, but the pass rush that should be pressuring the Bills on Sunday should really help in that effort.

If this were a daily fantasy football decision it would be very easy to start Houston, as the Bills are last or close to last in points per game (12.6), yards per game (221.2) and passing yards per game (121.8).

Next. Texans big favorites before facing Bills. dark

Don’t be afraid to start the Texans because at least in matchups and on paper they are the better unit in facing the Bills’ offense.
