Jadeveon Clowney, Johnathan Joseph still not practicing
Will linebacker Jadeveon Clowney and cornerback Johnathan Joseph miss the Houston Texans’ week six game?
When news came out on Wednesday that Houston Texans’ linebackers Jadeveon Clowney, Bernardrick McKinney and cornerbacks Johnathan Joseph, Kareem Jackson missed practice due to being injured, I wasn’t too concerned.
But all four players sat out on Thursday as well and it might be time to start worrying.

It’s not a surprise that linebacker Ben Heeney (knee), cornerback Kevin Johnson (knee) and safety Corey Moore (concussion) sat out again. I wouldn’t expect any of them to play this week as they continue to work their way back.
After losing star defenders J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus just this past week, Houston can’t afford to not have players like McKinney, Clowney, Jackson and Joseph play.
I know the Texans are playing one of the worst teams in the NFL in the Browns, but anything can happen on any given Sunday and Houston looks very vulnerable on defense right now.
It’s amazing the difference a year can make. In 2016 the Texans were able to win the AFC South because of their defense. Now in 2017, if they’re going to have any chance at winning the division or getting to the playoffs, they will have to rely on their offense and rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Before you freak out about Jackson, Clowney, McKinney or Joseph, lets wait and see if they are back on the field on Friday.
Update: Jackson’s status was updated to full participation on Thursday.
