5. J.J. Watt DE

It’s hard to think that three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt can ever see his stock rise. The reason is because his never, ever falls.

Still, he finds himself on this list because he played a remarkable game for the Chiefs after missing all of the preseason and training camp with back surgery.

In Week 1, he was limited to just one tackle. He was still eating up double teams and was effective, but his normal explosion hadn’t returned yet. On Sunday, it was back.

Watt had five tackles, two quarterback hits, 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery on one of those sacks. It didn’t take him long to get into shape after missing camp and for that reason, he finds himself on this list.
