Muhammad Wilkerson, New York Jets, 26 years old

The New York Jets may not be 100 percent sure what to do with their pass rushing specialist, Muhammad Wilkerson as he approaches free agency following a stellar 2015 campaign.

Wilkerson his double digit sacks (12) for the second time in his career, but the 3oth pick in the 2011 draft ended his season by breaking his fibula in the team’s season finale.

Now as he looked ready to break the bank, there will be issues about his recovery. If this leads to the Jets hesitating to sign the talented lineman, Houston would be wise to swoop in.

At 6’4″ and 315 pounds, Wilkerson would have great size to add to the defensive line and pairing him with J.J. Watt would be like a dream team.

The only question becomes about his salary and whether or not the Texans can afford to dedicate more money to their line. If the leg injury brings his salary down, even in the slightest, it would make sense for the Texans to try and bring him in on a one-year deal.

If he is able to recover and regain form, there may be some loyalty earned by the Texans as he re-enters the free agent market. Of course, pass rushers are hard to find, so this sadly may be nothing more than a pipe dream.
