Game: New England Patriots at Houston Texans

Prediction: The New England Patriots have lost two games in a row, which sounds crazy after all the talk of them going undefeated. Their first loss at the hands of the Denver Broncos was nothing to hang their head about, but losing to the Philadelphia Eagles who have a losing record most likely made them angry.

Now the Texans have to host a mad team, but the fact is this angry team is still reeling. Their offense isn’t what it used to be as the losses along the offensive line are taking their toll. Plus trying to manufacture offense without Julian Edelman or Rob Gronkowksi has been tough.

As much as Bill O’Brien and Brian Hoyer would love to throw another loss the Patriots way, their old team still looks to be too much for Houston. After struggling with Tyrod Taylor, there isn’t much hope for slowing down Tom Brady.

Brady will find enough mismatches, and Scott Chandler is a good enough tight end to take advantage of the Texans linebackers (who have struggled with several tight ends this year). I expect New England to stop their skid and Houston to head to Indy the following week needing a win desperately.

Final Score: New England 31, Houston 16
