#1. . SS. Kansas City Chiefs. ERIC BERRY

I have a confession to make here, this is not a football choice whatsoever. I couldn’t care less if Chiefs safety Eric Berry plays terribly, it will be great to see him on the field at all after battling Hodgkin’s disease since last December.

So far Berry has played sparingly in the preseason and said himself he doesn’t know how much time he will get on the field come Sunday. Still, just the fact he is healthy and back on the field should be enough reason to cheer, especially after the Texans have seen one of their own, tackle David Quessenberry, fight his own battle with cancer as he tries to get on the field once more.

Berry is an inspiration and will be able to make an impact on this game even if he doesn’t make any plays at all.
