Chandler Worthy showed up in his NFL preseason debut as the undrafted rookie from Troy University seems to now be the frontrunner for the return specialist job. He wisely fair caught a punt return he had to rush to get under and also had two separate 17 yard punt returns.

His first punt return was a thing of beauty as he picked up a bouncing punt and spun off a couple of would be tacklers while also using his speed and quick stop-and-go ability to elude others. His second return for the same amount of yards saw him being incredibly patient as he waited for his blockers and then turned on the jets.

In the kick return game he took one for 20 yards and the second for 30 yards. His vision and patience will be key, but if he continues to use them as he did this weekend, the return job is his to lose.
. Game Stats. 25 yards per kickoff return, 17 yards per punt return. CHANDLER WORTHY. WR
