Predictions For The Texans
This offseason, Vince signed a two-year deal with the Texans. While he may not be as explosive as he once was, I’m sure head coach Bill O’Brien and defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel will be thrilled to have a 350-pound man taking up space in the interior.

When paired with J.J. Watt (who almost commands double-teams) and underrated defensive end Jared Crick, Wilfork should prove to be a huge upgrade at nose tackle, a sore spot in the Texans’ defense for a few years now.
While he’s not as young and spry as he was in 2004, Wilfork is still a huge man with a lot of veteran experience. He will fit in wonderfully with the Texans’ 3-4 scheme, where he’ll be asked to do more run-stuffing than pass rushing. He’ll also be expected to be a mentor to last year’s third round pick Louis Nix, who should benefit from learning from an NFL great.
Based on how Wilfork has performed over his career, I would project that he will finish the 2015 season with 48 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 forced fumble.
