Deion Barnes is a 6’4″ 255 pound pass rusher who totaled 14 sacks and 26.5 tackles for a loss in his three collegiate seasons. What lands him on this list though is his familiarity with Texans coach Bill O’Brien from when O’Brien coached the Nittany Lions. As the draft reaches the later rounds finding a player that the coach knows and respects can carry a lot of weight, which makes the reunion seem like a solid move. Barnes may never be much more than a rotational guy, but finding someone in the sixth round that can play for a couple seasons would be a win even if it is only as a role player or special teamer..
