Today the Houston Texans will host the Washington Redskins to open the 2014 NFL season for these two teams, and on this Sunday, it will be interesting to say the least.

These two teams combined for five wins last season, with the Texans being 2-14 overall and the Redskins being 3-13. Since that ’13 season, each team brought in new head coaches, and it is time to start the long climb back up the ladder of NFL success for each franchise.

House of Houston, a FanSided site on all Houston sports, wrote about some key matchups for the game today, as written by Yoni Pollak.

Our own Graham Rogers of the Toro Times, wrote about 3 Keys for the Texans to win the game against the Redskins.

Today will be intense, but is also a day of celebration. Have fun today, be safe and enjoy the return of Texans football. Here are more articles on the Texans before today’s game.
