After a very busy week of trying to make a deal for quarterback Matt Schaub (which they did), the Houston Texans didn’t make much noise on Saturday in terms of their adding to their roster.

With that said, gaining a sixth round pick in the trade for Schaub will make the draft even that much more interesting for the Texans, because they will get that extra pick and this team does have some depth needs to work on the remainder of the offseason.

Speaking of Schaub, ESPN’s Tania Ganguli wrote about how being patient with Schaub paid off for the team as they did get that sixth round choice.

In the ESPN.com article, she wrote:

"“At a certain point you reach this dilemma: lose him for nothing or lose him for something, however minimal. In this case, the Texans got a sixth-round pick in exchange for their embattled former quarterback — a player everybody knew they wanted no part of in 2014.”"

Now it is time for the Texans to move on and now it is time to start looking at who they might select with that sixth round choice.

In other Texans news:

• As I’m still mentioning Schaub, the Ultimate Texans blog by the Houston Chronicle had an article about the “fresh start” for Schaub.

Battle Red Blog of SB Nation had a “Thank You” article on Schaub.

• The Toro Times also thanks Schaub for his time as the Texans QB. Here is an article by our Graham Rogers.
