Texans fans will love what DeAndre Hopkins said

After his team added a lot of talent around him, Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins believes his team is the one to beat in the AFC South
In their second season under head coach Bill O’Brien, the Houston Texans captured the AFC South crown with their nine win season. Many seem to believe the team accomplished this simply because the previous champions of the division, The Indianapolis Colts, were without their star quarterback, Andrew Luck, for most of the season.
Don’t try selling that to Texans receiver DeAndre Hopkins though, because he believes his team is the one to beat going forward.
Hopkins should have plenty of reasons to feel this way after the offseason the Texans had. Already a dominate defensive team, Houston was aggressive to build their offense up to match the strength of their team.

They paid big money to get the top quarterback in free agency, Brock Osweiler as well as the top running back, Lamar Miller. They also added big play weapons via the draft like Notre Dame’s Will Fuller (wide receiver) and Ohio State’s Braxton Miller (wide receiver).
The main reason for hopes of continued AFC South title runs though is the acquisition of Osweiler, and Hopkins raved when speaking about him recently.
"“It’s very pleasing to work with a guy that’s demanding and a leader like he is,” Hopkins said via the Houston Chronicle. “Demanding of your best, for you to be perfect, almost. I talked to some guys at Denver, and they said he was the same way even when he wasn’t playing. Now that he’s a full-time guy, I’m anxious to see what happens.”"

Osweiler should be an improvement over last year’s starter Brian Hoyer and the team believes that improvement should be enough to compete for years to come. Hopkins obviously shares the same sentiment as the front office.
