Ladies and Gentlemen,

The Texans have officially selected another beast to the defensive stable in the person of Jadeveon Clowney.

The former South Carolina prospect is coming here with questions about his drive, his desire, his work ethic. On a team with workout fanatics like Brian Cushing and J.J. Watt, rest assured the team will make right. This pick though, tells you most of that was hype.

The Texans strength and conditioning coach is Craig Fitzgerald. Formerly Clowney’s strength and conditioning coach. Enough said on that.

Romeo Crennel has to be drooling at the prospect of Watt and Clowney lining up wrecking havoc across the the NFL. One thinks that Mr. Andrew Luck has to be a little concerned at this point. You know his coaches are. With a new system, new coaches this addition will allow other players who didn’t have a great 2013 to really excel.

Whitney Merciless, Brooks Reed will have no excuses with Watt and Clowney drawing all the attention. Look for an exciting, explosive new defense with a dynamic any team would drool for.

Now the watch is on, who do we take tomorrow? As of this article, Blake Bortles is off the board. We’ll see him, twice a year in the black and blue of the Jaguars.

Pity one could have hoped he would have been available for the Texans later. Well, one down and a few to go.
