This is the first time Murphy has appeared in one of my Texans seven-round drafts. If the Texans don’t select Clowney in round one, they really need to focus on defensive line in this round to get some help for J.J. Watt. Since Antonio Smith is a free agent, this would be a good time to look for his potential replacement.

Murphy is also projected to be selected in the second round and is the 44th overall rated player. The fifth-rated (according to CBS Sports) DE is 6-6, 252 pounds.
