Have you seen the CBS “Eye on Football” article by Will Brinson and the grade he gave the Houston Texans?

First off, the article is titled, “Week 6: Stay classy, Texans fans.” I must note not all Texans fans cheered when Matt Schaub was injured, but the ones at the stadium who did, that cheering when he was injured gave Texans fans a black eye. That type of cheering is inexcusable.

And the grade the Texans were given in the article … a F- -.

I agree with the grade.

Here is what Brinson wrote about the Texans for their 38-13 loss to the St. Louis in week six:

"Matt Schaub got hurt and fans cheered him. (Classy!) They didn’t have much to cheer because T.J. Yates came in and immediately threw a pick six. Houston had more total yards and Arian Foster looked good but other than that this game was an unmitigated disaster for the Texans. What an embarrassment.”"

Again, I agree where he writes about it (the loss) being an embarrassment.

If you had to grade the Texans’ effort what grade would you give them? They sure aren’t getting a smiley face sticker, that’s for sure.

Houston is playing hopeless right now, especially against the now three-win Rams. I mean it is the Rams … when was the last time they were relevant? It isn’t like they are the same Rams that were the “Greatest Show on Turf.”

The Rams, really?

By the way the Rams received a grade of a B+ for their efforts Sunday, which they earned.

I don’t think I can solve the problems of the Texans, but later this week I’ll give it a whirl, you know, for fun. Why not?

Maybe next week the Texans will improve on their F- – grade, but I doubt it since they are playing the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Texans can’t compete against the Rams, what can we expect from the Texans when they face the undefeated Chiefs?
