Game prediction and score?
This game will hinge on the arm and decision making of Matt Schaub in the passing game. Sam Bradford and Co. will likely start off flat, if left to their own devices. However, the team has been effective in quickly capitalizing on turnovers, and showed last season that they are capable of “holding” a lead, if they can get one.

If Schaub tosses a pick-six again, the St. Louis Rams should have enough offensively and defensively to steal a close win.

If Schaub is, at a minimum, protective of the football, the Texans should be able to pull off the win with the run game and stout defense.

The St. Louis Rams are obviously heading into the game with more confidence, and are significantly healthier on both sides of the football. Having no faith that Schaub will be able to dig himself out of his slump, I think the St .Louis Rams could pull out a close, relatively low-scoring win. Rams 24, Texans 21
