The Dunta saga is starting to get hairy…

Dunta Robinson has let it be known that he was not too happy with the team’s decision to franchise him this offseason as opposed to signing him to a long term extension. He has already skipped voluntary workouts with the team and remains vocal through the media to voice his displeasure. The plot thickens as the talented Texans DB has publicly stated that he might sit out regular season games unless the team agrees not to franchise him again next season.

2009 Draft Wrap Up

The 2009 Draft has come and gone and it looks like this one will fall in line with what we have come to expect from Rick Smith and Gary Kubiak and that is a very strong Houston Texans draft class.
There was little suspense when the Texans selected USC LB Brian Cushing with the 15th pick as many have been specualting this move for over a month.  New Texans DC Frank Bush says that Cushing was the pick all along.

Keep em coming: Texans Sign LB’s Cato June, Davis

The Texans have signed free agent linebackers Cato June and Buster Davis, both former members of the Indianapolis Colts.  This marks the third time this offseason that the team has addressed a defensive position of need via free agency.  
Cato June was a Pro Bowler in 2005 and was a significant contributor at weakside linebacker for the overachieving Indianapolis Colt defense that won Super Bowl XLI in 2007.  He has spent the last two seasons in Tampa Bay.  
Buster Davis was a 3rd round pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2007.  The LB out of Florida State  was once labeled [...]
