2: Wide Receiver

What a season for the Houston Texans wide receiver room. Nico Collins had a breakout season with 1297 yards and 8 touchdowns, rookie Tank Dell took the world by storm with 709 yards, and 7 touchdowns in 11 games prior to injury, and Noah Brown was an incredibly reliable target with 567 yards and two touchdowns.

Robert Woods was a solid veteran voice and having John Metchie working his way back from leukemia and Xavier Hutchinson looking to improve going into year two have eyes on our weapons. And then the trade. A lot of fans speculated maybe trying to sign Mike Evans away from Tampa Bay or making a move for the Bengals' Tee Higgins but no.

The Texans made a great move to acquire Stefon Diggs from the Buffalo Bills. Diggs has 6 straight 1000-yard+ seasons and 5 of the last 6 seasons has had 100+ catches. Adding Diggs to a growing group is going to scare defenses. While the Texans reworked Diggs' deal to allow him to enter free agency after the 2024 season, the wide receiver room doesn't need an addition via the draft. It would be too many cooks in the kitchen. Stroud only has many attempts per game.
