26th in the 2022 NFL Quarterbacks power rankings:

Pick Analysis. QB. player. 50. Scouting Report. California. JaredGoff. 26

Jared Goff gets a lot of flack for being traded to Detroit and being the starting quarterback of a downtrodden franchise that hasn’t seen glory in forever. Goff isn’t the worst quarterback in the league, but his ranking plummeted when he went to Detroit via trade last season.

The Lions were almost headed for another winless season until wins against Minnesota and Arizona helped stave that off. Amon-Ra St. Brown officially arrived as an NFL receiver, and the rest of the team showed gut and grit fighting in games.

Detroit lost six one-score games last year, and a handful of those were in heartbreaking fashion that one-upped each other every time it happened. The NFC North will most likely be won by Green Bay again, but the second-place spot is up for anyone to come and take it.

Can Goff guide Detroit to that spot and possibly a playoff spot?
