First in the 2022 NFL Quarterbacks power rankings:
Josh Allen is your 2022 post-free agency NFL Quarterbacks power rankings champion. If you’ve made it this far in reading, pat yourself on the back. As for Allen, he did his best to win the game for Buffalo in the divisional round against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Allen activated his star power and took the Bills down the field repeatedly in that game when they needed him the most. Allen will still have Stefon Diggs for years to come, along with a budding star in Gabriel Davis.
Buffalo needs to find a replacement for Cole Beasley if he doesn’t return to the team. Adding Von Miller was a stunning move that no one saw coming on the defensive side. But Buffalo has failed to address their weakest area on the team- the secondary.
Behind TreDavious White, there is no one. We all saw how bad Buffalo was down the stretch after White tore his ACL. Jordan Poyer and Mich Hyde are okay when they’re not being bothered by reporters asking them questions.
If Buffalo can get another lockdown corner who will provide some coverage sacks for Buffalo, they could very well be hosting their first Lombardi trophy come February.
