The 49ers have quarterback drama brewing. Much like when the Packers drafted Jordan Love, the 49ers did the same by drafting Trey Lance. Now, neither Rodgers nor Garoppolo wants to give their spot up.
Garoppolo shouldn’t let Lance on the field, but the problem is that Garoppolo hasn’t played to the best of his abilities. But getting to a Super Bowl and then another NFC title game within three years is an accomplishment.
The 49ers need another wide receiver, and Ray-Ray McCloud (the only wide receiver signed in free agency) is not going to help them. Expect the Niners to take second place in the NFC West this year.
