1.  Gaining wins against the Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Chargers

When the Houston Texans defeated the Tennessee Titans in late November of the 2021 season, it was an incredible win and a huge victory for the fan base, and all involved with the franchise, to be proud of.

The win over the Titans snapped an 8-game losing streak and put a lot of disappointment in the rearview mirror for the time being. Though the offensive performance wasn’t that great, the defense of the Texans was exciting, and it would have been even better to see that play all season long.

Houston in their first meeting with the Titans intercepted Ryan Tannehill four times, and he was sacked twice. Though Tyrod Taylor only passed for 104 yards with no touchdowns, he did rush for two scores, and kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn had two extra points and three made field goals.

This was a game where the Texans won as a team as it took all three units to gain that win.

Later in the season, the win against the Chargers was very surprising, but it was great that it happened as the Chargers were battling to stay in the playoff hunt at the time. The Texans earning the win over Los Angeles did hamper their abilities to make the playoffs, and it was a solid momentum booster for Houston.

Houston winning 41-29 against LA was so much fun to watch as Davis Mills was 21-of-27 for 254 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Rex Burkhead was the lone Texans running back this season to rush for 100 or more yards in a game, as he finished with 149 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries.

This might have been the best win of the season for the Houston Texans, and these two wins were the most positive moments of the 2021 season.
