Houston Texans way-too-early 2022 NFL Schedule prediction
Houston Texans 2022 schedule prediction: Weeks 6-10
Week 6: The Texans lose to the former Texans, aka the Kansas City Chiefs.
Houston suffers from turnover problems and runs into the juggernaut of an offense in the Chiefs. This is a blowout game until late, as Houston won’t score until the fourth quarter.
Week 7: NFL Scheduling gods help Houston return above .500
The hapless New York Giants will still be committed to Daniel Jones (a terrible mistake), and Houston rolls easily into New York to bring their record to 4-3.
Week 8: Texans earn a win over back-to-back NFC East opponents
Washington relies on Taylor Heinicke so much that the whole team is off if he’s off. Washington doesn’t get Terry McLaurin the ball either, so Houston can build a winning streak as they climb to 5-3.
Week 9: Colts win a nailbiter at home
Houston cannot finish the game-winning drive, thanks to a hit from DeForest Buckner that lets Darius Leonard take a pick-six back to the house in a defensive struggle. As a result, Houston drops to 5-4.
Week 10: BYE WEEK
Houston rides into the second half of their season at a much more optimistic 5-4, with a lot of hope left to make the playoffs.
