The Houston Texans released their Week 2 inactive list for their away game against the Cleveland Browns.

For Week 2 the Houston Texans will be without seven players from their active roster on the road against the Cleveland Browns. Texans wide receiver Anthony Miller is a key player who is out for Houston in the game at FirstEnergy Stadium against the Browns.

Also listed as inactive for the Texans are quarterback Deshaun Watson, tight end Brevin Jordan, defensive back Jimmy Moreland, running back Scottie Phillips, plus defensive linemen Jonathan Greenard and Demarcus Walker.

Looking at the loss of Miller, that continues to be key for the Texans because he can offer so much to quarterback Tyrod Taylor and the rest of the Texans offense.

Also not having Greenard available on the defensive line will come to haunt the Texans as he’d be a great addition to the Houston defensive line this week against Browns, as they are a much stronger opponent than last week.

As for the home team Browns, their inactive player list for Week 2 against the Houston Texans include wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. as he is battling a knee injury for the second straight game.

Also on the inactive list for the Browns are Tony Fields II, Richard LeCounte III, Tommy Togiai, and Chris Hubbar.

This will be an interesting game to watch the Houston Texans defense because the secondary doesn’t have to worry about Beckham, but the Browns still have a strong offense with quarterback Baker Mayfield leading the way.

The Texans entering this game are somewhat lucky as many of their top players are in the game for a second straight week to start the season. The offensive line is healthy with no starters on the inactive list, and having most of the rushing game, especially the trio of Mark Ingram, David Johnson, and Phillip Lindsay helps offset not having Phillips on the game day roster this weekend.
