There seems to be a tie for third place in the division between Houston and Jacksonville. What is your season prediction (in terms of record), and can Trevor Lawrence be a Rookie of The Year candidate?

B&T: The Jaguars could win just two games and it would represent an increase of 200 percent in terms of win. The bar is set relatively low considering Jacksonville lacked talent. Six to eight wins seem reasonable, anything more would be overachieving.

Lawrence should definitely be a candidate for OROY but it may be a tight competition. Zach Wilson and Mac Jones will make things interesting and the race may come to the wire.

Name one player on offense and defense that will be a surprise impact player for the Jags this season

B&T: Any of the Jaguars’ top 3 wide receivers (DJ Chark Jr.; Laviska Shenault Jr., and Marvin Jones Jr.). It’s hard to just pick one. Last season, the team lacked consistency at quarterback but Trevor Lawrence should have no trouble getting them the ball.

On defense, DaVon Hamilton won’t pile up stats but he will help the defense clog up running lanes. He showed promise last season before a knee injury cut his rookie season short. The same is true for cornerback C.J. Henderson. Even though he missed a good chunk of training camp, he quickly caught up and should pick up where he left off last season.
