It was quite the show this offseason when Houston Texans general manager Nick Caserio brought in almost every veteran free agent on the market at that time. Who could blame him, as the team has spiraled out of playoff contender ever since the 2019 divisional-round loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Houston Texans currently have about $10M in cap space according to OverTheCap.com, and that money could go to a one-year contract for these players that are still looking for a home. Depth is never a bad thing to have in the NFL, and last year tested each team’s depth (Just ask the Denver Broncos on how the Kendall Hinton experiment went).
These are presented in no particular order. There’s no doubt these guys would be instant starters and helo this team become even better. Some of these players are surprisingly still available, while others just have flown under the radar. Let’s jump into this set of five players.
