1. How the team begins to gel as an entire unit in training camp
There is a lot of new when the Houston Texans are involved, and with most likely a new quarterback in ’21 (even with Deshaun Watson reporting), plus the possibility of a new starting running back, new starting wide receivers and new players on the offensive line, that is a lot of new to gel together in a single training camp.
All of that, and on defense there have been many new additions added to the starter’s role or on the depth chart, plus basically a whole new coaching staff and general manager. It is safe to say things are a lot different this training camp compared to 2020.
The Texans might not win a lot of games, but what is important to watch with this team is how they start to become a complete unit, and that isn’t just for training camp, but this entire season. The changes the Texans have made aren’t to be overlooked as the entire culture of the organization is changing, and what needs to be watched with this entire roster is to see how they all react to the changes that have been made.
Houston might not be the best team in the NFL, but even with as bad as many are making them out to be before they’ve played a single game, they are an interesting franchise to watch out for during training camp 2021.
