The saga of Deshaun Watson reporting to training camp, but still wanting to be traded, is still going on, as reports say the Houston Texans are listening to offers for their quarterback who apparently doesn’t want to be with the organization.

Watson is saving himself $50,000 per day by being at Texans camp, but until the Texans, Watson and possibly another team all agree on some sort of deal to make everyone happy, this situation isn’t going anywhere.

Trading Deshaun Watson is tough as the asking price by the Texans should involve no less than three first-round choices, and more than that. There are some teams who could really use the NFL passing leader from a season ago, so if Watson’s off-the-field issues don’t bother a potential trade partner, the Texans would be really smart to listen and eventually make a decision so the focus goes back to football and scouting for future drafts.
