4. Which player on the Texans do you feel the Chiefs can’t overlook?

David Johnson. Sure, he’s new to the team, and with such a weird offseason, that hurts more than it has in the past. But when he’s healthy and the primary back, he’s dynamic. Not only can he hurt you on the ground but also through the air. With so many new wide receivers on the team, I expect Watson to lean heavily on check-down passes to Johnson.

Early last year, the Chiefs really didn’t have an answer for good running backs. That changed as the season progressed, but since the Chiefs will be without a couple of key starting defensive players due to injury, Johnson looks poised for a fine Texans debut

5. What is your game prediction?

Chiefs win a shootout, 38-28.

Patrick Mahomes vs. Deshaun Watson is always fun, and I hope that these two continue encountering each other as their careers go on. In this particular game, I expect the Chiefs offense to come out hitting on all cylinders, and that it’s just too much for not only the Texans defense, but for Watson to keep his team in it.

I expect Watson to go toe-to-toe with Mahomes for a while, but for the Chiefs to start pulling away midway through the third quarter.
