2. Which new addition to the Chiefs are you most excited to watch on Thursday night?

Great question. The Chiefs didn’t bring in a lot of firepower from the outside the offseason, instead focusing on key pieces already inside the organization and wrapping them up with long-term extensions. So, to answer your questions, I’m most excited to see the Chiefs first-round draft pick out of LSU, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire.

I’ll be curious to see how much he touches the ball this first game, and when he does, how explosive he is. It seems like the starting gig is there for his taking what with Damien Williams, who should’ve been named Super Bowl MVP, opting out for this season, and the rest of the running back depth being exactly that: depth.

CEH was a playmaker at LSU, and that’s why the Chiefs took him with the last pick in the first round. Against Houston, I’ll expect to see flashes of what’s to come from him in both the rushing and receiving game. It’ll be fun to watch.
