The Toro Times spoke with KC Kingdom before the Houston Texans face the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kickoff for the Houston Texans is tonight (NBC, 7:20 p.m. CT) and before the Texans face the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium in Week 1 of 2020 NFL season the Toro Times had a conversation with FanSided’s KC Kingdom about the upcoming game.

The Texans split with the Chiefs last season by winning in the regular season, but losing in the playoffs. Now is time for a whole new start for both teams, though the Chiefs are the favorites to win the first game of the 2020 season by nearly every outlet available.

Next are a series of questions answered by KC Kingdom’s Cullen Jekel in gaining his thoughts about the Chiefs vs. Texans before Week 1 begins.

1. How much do you believe the comeback and dominating win by the Chiefs in the playoffs last year will hang over the Texans in Week 1?

I don’t believe it will at all. That’s a testament to Andy Reid and the rest of the coaching staff. If he hasn’t already, Reid will get this team (or at least the top players) to forget about that comeback, to not even think about it once Thursday arrives. Don’t expect a hangover from the Chiefs.
