The Perfect Addition

1. Kenyan Drake

Compared to the previous two running backs we just talked about, the market value by Spotrac.com of Kenyan Drake seems like a huge bargain that is super affordable, maybe a bit low.

Drake on the Houston Texans’ offense could be as comparable as peanut butter and jelly or Batman and Robin. The market value of Drake seems to be a $5.5 million per season, with a four-year deal at near $23 million.

Granted, the Texans still need to extend the contracts of Laremy Tunsil at left tackle and Deshaun Watson at quarterback, but like it has been written on more than one occasion at the Toro Times, Drake could really make the Texans improved offensively.

In eight games with the Arizona Cardinal,s Drake showed what he can do on an NFL field, as in just those games the 26-year-old totaled 123 carries for 643 yards and eight scores, along with 28 receptions for 171 yards receiving.

To be fair, in his games with the Miami Dolphins last season, Drake had just 47 carries for 174 yards and no touchdowns, plus he had 22 receptions for 174 yards.

If the Texans were to sign a free agent deal with Drake, the possibilities the offense could have would be endless, plus that offense would give the opposition many sleepless nights on game week.

Drake can be a breakout star running back in the NFL in 2020, so this is why the Texans need to take a chance and go after Drake. If not, the previous four players listed would make the offense better than the unit was a season ago.
