If the Houston Texans are looking to add depth to their running back roster, one running back who has played for multiple NFL teams is Christine Michael, who most recently played in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts in 2018.

Michael also played for the Seattle Seahawks — who also drafted Michael in the second round in ’13 — the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and the Colts in five NFL seasons that included 38 games (nine starts). In those games, Michael rushed for 1,089 yards with seven touchdowns.

If a team were to show any interest in Michael, they most likely will only do so when he proves he can be a productive player in the XFL. The issue with Michael is he’s been very inconsistent throughout his NFL career, but if he does work his way to an NFL roster again through the XFL, he’s going to need to show consistent play, plus prove that he’s durable.

Michael will be playing for St. Louis Battlehawks. He does have a lot to prove as the XFL is most likely his final chance to get back into the NFL, but Michael has shown before he does have the talent to play in the NFL.

The Texans need to watch Michael in the XFL because they are looking to improve their running back depth chart. Michael already having some NFL experience, he could make his way back into the league if he’s able to have a strong outing in the first season of the XFL.
