1. Texans win the game 24-10

With the return of J.J. Watt and the shown improvement of the Houston Texans defense (excluding Week 17), the Texans’ defense could be the main reason they win this game. If the defensive pass rush of Houston can put the pressure on Josh Allen in his playoff debut, well, the Buffalo defense could be in for a long game.

Besides the return of Watt for the Texans defense, keep an eye on Whitney Mercilus with his new contract. The outside linebacker has earned that new deal, and he has been playing at a high level this season. Mercilus has 7.5 sacks this season, with four forced fumbles and two interceptions, and numbers like that don’t happen by accident.

The defense of the Texans could save the Texans in this game, but the offense has the ability to put the game away early if Deshaun Watson and the crew can score points early, helping the defense to do their job at a higher level, too.

Houston is only a -3 point favorite, according to The Action Network, so expect this game to be close, though once the game is over, Houston should be standing strong in front of their home crowd at NRG Stadium.
