The wide receiver depth for the Houston Texans will be thin for Week 17 against the Tennessee Titans.

on Sunday, the Houston Texans will be hosting the Tennessee Titans in the regular season finale in Week 17. A win by the Titans puts them in the playoffs as a No. 6 seed, and the Texans are already in the playoffs as the AFC South champion.

As for the injury report for inactives for the Week 17 game, the Texans have some big-time players who will not be on the field today, including starting left tackle Laremy Tunsil who has an ankle injury.

As for the wide receivers both Will Fuller (groin) and Kenny Stills (knee) are also listed inactive for Week 17. Stills was limited in practice this past week, while Fuller did not practice at all this week.

Stills this season has 40 receptions for 561 yards with four touchdown receptions, as he is averaging 14 yards per reception. Fuller has 49 receptions for 670 yards this season with three touchdown receptions, averaging 13.7 yards per reception.

Others who are inactive for Week 17 include cornerback Bradley Roby (hamstring), outside linebacker Jacob Martin (knee), Benardrick McKinney (concussion) and defensive end D.J. Reader (not listed on daily injury report).

There isn’t much to gain from this Week 17 game (depending on the Kansas City Chiefs result) against the Titans, as the focus has shifted to the playoff game next weekend for the Texans.

The most important thing for Houston is to be healthy for the Wild Card game most likely against the Buffalo Bills. The Texans need to avenge a poor playoff performance that had a year ago as the AFC South Champions, when they lost to the Indianapolis Colts.

Be prepared to not see much of DeAndre Hopkins and Deshaun Watson in this game as well. Houston needs to have success in the playoffs this year, and the best way for that to happen is for the top stars to be healthy following this Week 17 game, and limiting the action of their star players seems to be the way to go.
