Texans Defense

That being said, the Texans face an uphill battle at the linebacker position similar to the Bucs receiving group. Star MLB Benardrick McKinney will miss Saturday’s contest with an unfortunate concussion, though it’s probably best for him to wait a week or two before returning.

One of the better breakout players on defense this season is none other than Jacob Martin, who was ridiculed before the season as merely a depth piece acquired during the Jadeveon Clowney trade. His 3.5 sacks in the last four games have provided extra pressure that the team has desperately missed since J.J. Watt‘s pectoral injury. Playing without either LB leaves the task up to Pro Bowl alternate Whitney Mercilus and tackling leader Zach Cunningham.

All factors considered this game will be more challenging than it looks at surface value, mostly because there is no telling which Winston will show up any given week. Winston became the first player in NFL history to throw for 450-plus yards in two consecutive weeks, but he is also a lock to lead the league in interceptions as well.

Winston has two games left to prove his worth to head coach Bruce Arians that he is capable of remaining the franchise QB. That could mean he’ll take it upon himself to win the game on his own, or it could mean that he’ll force throws to backup receivers and likely turn the ball over in the process.
