Benardrick McKinney, Jacob Martin OUT for Houston Texans in Week 16 injury report

The Houston Texans ruled out a couple of players ahead of their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 16.
The Houston Texans released their injury report ahead of their travel to face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers game this upcoming Saturday. Jacob Martin (knee) and Benardrick McKinney (concussion) were ruled out against the Bucs after not practicing this week.
Meanwhile, Brennan Scarlett and Jahleel Addae are listed as questionable with their own Achilles’ injuries. The Texans could be forced to make some roster moves on defense heading into Week 16 with only three outside linebackers and three inside linebackers on the active roster.
The Texans could sign an inside linebacker for this week with Zach Cunningham, Peter Kalambayi, and Tyrell Adams, the only healthy options for their matchup against Jameis Winston and the Buccaneers’ offense.
On the other hand, Taiwan Jones and Will Fuller V are also questionable on the injury report with nagging hamstring injuries that kept them limited through this week of practice. Jones has missed the last two games rehabbing; meanwhile, the Texans have been cautious with Fuller since he injured his hamstring against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 7.
Running back, Carlos Hyde is listed with an ankle injury that has him questionable this Saturday. However, DeAndre Hopkins (illness) and Darren Fells (hand) are ready to go for the offense after being listed as full participants in practice today.
The Texans will be able to secure their spot in the playoffs with a victory against the Bucs in Week 16.
