Week 11: at Baltimore Ravens

This is being a game hyped for two reasons, and their names are Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens and Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans. These are two of the premier young quarterbacks in the entire NFL, and in Week 11, don’t expect anything other than exciting and great play from both quarterbacks.

These two quarterbacks are not only the future of the NFL, but both Watson and Jackson are in the talks for the NFL Most Valuable Player winner because they have have played so well this season, and thus far have their teams with winning records.

Baltimore enters this game leading the AFC North at 7-2 overall, with the next team in their conference being the Pittsburgh Steelers at 5-5. The Texans are the leaders of the AFC South at 6-3 overall, with the Colts in second at 5-4 overall, followed by the Tennessee Titans at 5-5.

Other than the quarterback play in this game, the running backs will be of great importance, especially for the Texans because the play of Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson will be needed at a high level. When the Texans can have a solid rushing game from Hyde, and Johnson can catch passes from Watson, that seems to open the wide receivers more, which allows the Texans and Watson to take over a game.

For the Texans to win this game, and make another statement this season as being a contender for the Super Bowl, the offensive line and Hyde need to get the ground game going against a defense that is ranked eighth in rushing yards allowed this season (91.2 yards per game).

The Texans are very capable of winning this game, especially after a bye week, so this one goes to the Texans in Week 11.

Prediction: Texans 28, Ravens 24
