Week 11: at Baltimore Ravens (7-2)

Here is a game that should be on the national stage, but is a noon start Central time, with the AFC North first-place Baltimore Ravens vs. the AFC South first-place Houston Texans in a game that will eventually affect the playoff seeding in the AFC.

What stands out the most in this game? How about the quarterback battle between Lamar Jackson of the Ravens and Deshaun Watson of the Texans. This is the type of matchup that is worth paying the price of admission. This game isn’t only important for both teams and fan bases, but fans of all forms of football should be excited for this game.

Speaking of Jackson, in Week 10 he showcased his abilities against the Cincinnati Bengals that would should give that franchise nightmares for years to come. Jackson led his team to a 49-13 win over the winless Bengals in Week 10, as he was 15-of-17 for 223 yards passing with three touchdowns and no interceptions.

How good was Jackson on Sunday? ESPN reporter Jamison Hensley wrote the following about Jackson on Sunday:

"“Jackson became the second player in NFL history to produce a perfect passer rating (158.3) in multiple games in a single season. The only other player to do so was Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who had two in 2007.”"

That is some great company to join, but Jackson wasn’t finished as he also led the Ravens in rushing with seven carries for 65 yards and one touchdown, averaging 9.3 yards per carry. If you haven’t watched the touchdown run by Jackson against the Bengals, do yourself a favor and watch that run.

Jackson and Watson play a similar style of football, as they can beat a team with the pass and then take over a game with their rushing ability. If there is a game in Week 11 that is a must-watch and a matchup between opposing quarterbacks that will showcase not just the future, but the present of the NFL, Watson vs. Jackson is that match to be excited about.
