3. Grady Jarrett, DT, Falcons

This season Grady Jarrett has stood out at defensive tackle with 19 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble, and he’s going to be a player the Houston Texans must be very worried about on Sunday. The Texans had better make sure they know where Jarrett is during the entire game because nobody wants him to get close to Deshaun Watson, unless you’re a fan of Atlanta.

Last season Jarrett finished with 52 tackles and six sacks, along with three forced fumbles, and this season he already has one. What draws my interest the most for Jarrett is how the Texans’ interior line will block Jarrett.

Granted, the Texans offensive line has had their good days (Week 3), but last week the group took a step backward, though it has to be continually noted that not all of the 18 sacks allowed in ’19 are the fault or blame of the various offensive units that have stepped onto the field this season.

The guards of the Texans, whether it be Max Scharping or Zach Fulton, plus center Nick Martin have their hands full, and maybe the most challenging job of all on Sunday by stopping Jarrett from breaking through the interior and disrupting not only Watson, but the rushing game too.
