Houston Texans: Laremy Tunsil to play vs. Chargers
The Houston Texans will have their franchise left tackle in the starting lineup for Week 3 as they face the Los Angeles Chargers this afternoon.
The the Houston Texans will be without offensive guard Senio Kelemete on Sunday in the Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a wrist injury. That said, the Texans will have franchise left tackle Laremy Tunsil available to play as he was listed as questionable all week with a ankle injury.
Last week in the 13-12 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars is where the injury happened for Tunsil as he was limited all week in practice. Tunsil joined the Texans, along with Kenny Stills this preseason following a blockbuster trade with the Miami Dolphins.
Listed below are the players listed as inactive by the Texans vs. the Chargers as they get set for the Week 3 game in Los Angeles:
This was the injury report listed throughout the week for the Texans as they prepared for the Chargers:
One player who was not listed on the injury report but is inactive for the Texans is offensive tackle Seantrel Henderson. Six of the seven players listed as inactive are from the offense with those players being quarterback Alex McGough, running back Taiwan Jones, tight end Logan Paulsen and tight end Jerell Adams. The last player listed on the inactive list is defensive end Carlos Watkins.
Not having Henderson dressing and not in the injury list is a big intriguing, but understandable as Houston has players on the offensive line who can play multiple positions if needed.
Having Tunsil officially not inactive is great news for the Texans, and as we all know he is much needed on the field against the pass rush of the Chargers this week.
