The Houston Texans have released their most official injury report ahead of Week 3 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Houston Texans have announced that Laremy Tunsil, Senio Kelemete, and running back Taiwan Jones are all questionable against the Los Angeles Chargers. Tunsil injured his ankle last week in the Texans only touchdown of the drive where he awkwardly twisted an ankle as multiple players were attempting to bring down running back Carlos Hyde in the red zone.
The good news is that Tunsil walked off the field and returned to the game later in the fourth quarter. Texans are likely to count on Tunsil for their game against the Chargers or they would have added another tackle to their roster before traveling to Los Angeles. Tunsil and the Texans offensive line will need to be on their A-game with Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram being two of of the better pass rushers in the league.
Meanwhile, it is entirely feasible for the Texans to rule out Kelemete and Jones for another week after they were inactive against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Safeties Tashaun Gipson, Justin Reid, and A.J. Moore were full participants in the last couple of practices and are expected to be ready for Sunday.
Wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller were also full participants in practice and are going to be available for Week 3. Carlos Hyde, Greg Mancz, and Dylan Cole were not limited in practice after listed on the injury report and are expected to be available to make the trip to Dignity Health Sports Park.
Mancz could be making his debut in the 2019 regular season after being out for the first two games of the regular season recovering from an ankle injury that occurred in the preseason opener against the Green Bay Packers.
