Texans vs Jaguars: Keke Coutee active for Week 2
The Houston Texans have released their inactives list for Week 2, and wide receiver Keke Coutee isn’t on that list.
Sunday morning finally confirmed that the Houston Texans will have their foursome of wide receivers on the active roster for Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and that group of wide receivers includes the season debut of Keke Coutee.
Coutee missed last week against the New Orleans Saints, and for Sunday he’ll not only be on the field, but he can become a difference maker with DeAndre Hopkins and Will Fuller taking the pressure from best coverage players Jacksonville has to offer.
Also with Coutee, he’ll share time most likely with Kenny Stills. Having those four wide receivers available to quarterback Deshaun Watson is going to bring a lot of excitement for Sunday, and it will be exciting to see what Coutee can offer to this offense.
As for the inactives, here are those seven players who head coach Bill O’Brien and the Texans coaching staff listed as inactive for Week 2 against the Jaguars:
Sunday is going be be a test for the Texans to see how their wide receivers can play against some very talented defensive players the Jaguars have to offer to defend against Coutee and the rest of the offense of Houston.
Having Coutee active is something the Texans need to have more often this season, as last year he missed 10 games. When Coutee, the Texans are a better and more dangerous team, so expect that from Houston in Week 2.
